My favourite installment in the series. Got drawn into Jack's story through The Magnetic Ridge and worked my way backwards. This one just hits the sweet spot between stoner, doom and blues.

As has (rightfully) already been said elsewhere, this band and album are "absolute fire." Despite the doom-gloom cover art, this type of rock music is a positive force. Especially without vocals, which for me is a bonus.

"Unseen" is a pretty interesting track, but I think I understand why they left it off UMMON. It's got an almost 90's alt rock vibe, like if Weezer dived into cosmic psych. I dig it. "The Real Unseen" has me yearning for these guys to collaborate with Sunn O))). Together, they make for a tasty amuse bouche ahead of their hints at a new release on the horizon.
